Dad, Pick up the Cordless!

[Title inspired by this ad, a favorite of Dad and his law school roommates.]

Big day for the Bean. Morning walk across the park with Mom and Dad. Then back across the park with Mom while Dad went to work.

And then....just after Dad returned home...

No more cord!

The Lima Bean now has a belly button! Mom and Dad were very excited, but a little conflicted about what to do with the the wee nub of cord (save it, to bring out at her wedding? Throw it away? Mount in lucite and display as modern art?). For now, it sits in a plastic bag.

With her newfound status as a cordless lass, the Bean embarked on her first real bath. Mom and Dad were thrilled that she didn't mind the water at all.
