West Coast Swing

The Bean has just returned from another major adventure--a visit with all of her San Diego relatives.

It was her third trip by plane, so she knew to stretch out a bit in the terminal before boarding.



But the long trip was certainly worth it. The Bean got to see Grammie and Grandad again, and met her Aunt Leila, Uncle Kurt and cousins Calvin and Phoebe. She quite enjoyed being one of the centers of attention.





Calvin absolutely adored his young cousin, and the feeling was mutual.



The Bean also enjoyed reading with Grammie...



And relaxing with Grandad.



In her spare time, she watched Dad and Uncle Kurt run a half marathon...



Visited the aquarium...



And drove to LA to meet Catherine, Jon and their son Jack.



The Bean also made her first trip to the beach.



Fortunately, she had her personal oceanographer on hand when she went down to the water.



It was a wonderful West Coast swing.
