The Bean also met up with Dad's law school friends, who had gathered to admire each other's children (and perhaps to play cards as well). Drew and the Bean had a great time together:
On Sunday, the Bean also met her friend Sophia for the first time. The Bean was getting sick, and Sophia slept through most of the visit, but Mom, Dad, Nicole and Peter enjoyed the chance to catch up!
Back in New York, Thanksgiving week brought the beginning of the holiday season. On Thanksgiving morning, Mom, Dad and the Bean walked to the Thanksgiving Day Parade, passing the balloons in the starting area on the way:
They joined Liana and Daria and their parents and grandparents, and a few hundred other spectators, on a side street to watch the parade.
The Bean was thrilled by the spectacle (although she may have been more excited by the crowd than the balloons...).
Later on Thanksgiving, Mom, Dad and the Bean went to Mormor and Morfar's house for Mormor's annual Thanksgiving feast. The Bean decided to get dressed up for the occasion:
Soon, it was time to eat!
But the Bean didn't just want to sit in her highchair... She wanted to crawl under the table with her uncle...
and share a cookie with her Mormor.
It was a wonderful day, and everyone was thankful to be spending it together.
