Beautiful weekend

The Bean enjoyed an absolutely spectacular weekend in the city. After a very cold start to fall, warm, sunny weather returned and it seemed that everyone in the city spent the weekend outside.

On Saturday, the Bean visited Mom's old school (her Mama Alma Mater, if you will) for their school fair. She met up with Liana and Daria--it was quite a gaggle of girls.



Later, the Bean had plans to meet up with her friend Liam and his parents to visit the Central Park Zoo for the first time...but she fell asleep on her way to the zoo and missed half of the exhibits.



After a long nap, the Bean enjoyed spending time in the tropical rain forest...



And trying to steal Liam's pacifier.



The Bean rounded out her visit to Central Park with a photo session for possible Christmas cards. Some of the better attempts:





It was a very exciting day!



On Sunday, the Bean took a little car trip, visiting Brooklyn. Since she wanted to fit in, the Bean wore her hoodie.



After stopping for brunch (the Bean had one of her new favorites--Cheese!)...



And eavesdropping inappropriately on the next table...



The Bean took a relaxing stroll around the neighborhood.



It was a beautiful weekend.
