Born to Stroll

The Bean took her first interstate trip yesterday (actually, her first trip off the island of Manhattan, ex-utero), visiting New Jersey. It's an early spring weekend in the northeast, with temperatures above 60 both days. As a result, the Bean has been spending some serious time outdoors.

There are a lot of pictures to catch up on, so let's get started:

Visiting the doctor's office on Friday (for details, see below)...

Getting ready to head out Saturday morning...

Making a pit stop at the lakehouse in New Jersey...

Returning from a successful day out.

The Bean also got a few new friends this week (thanks Angela, and thanks for visiting!). Her new geometric barnyard animals (known locally as the Chickahedron, the Cube Steak and the Sheep-sphere) are a big hit.

The Sheep-sphere is of particular interest, with its easy-to-grasp ruffles. (Mom and Dad have to confess that they couldn't quite discern the species of the Sheep-sphere without a little internet research. For a day, it was called the Pig-sphere. We hope it isn't too offended.)
