Coming and Going...

The Bean had a very special visitor this week--her uncle (and partial namesake) Justin arrived on Wednesday for a few days in town. He seemed very excited to meet her...



At the same time that Justin was arriving, Dad had to leave town for work for a couple of days. Fortunately, his trip took him home to San Diego, where he got to see the Bean's Grammie, Grandad, Aunt Leila, Uncle Kurt and Cousin Calvin. Dad had a good time trying to hold on to Calvin while Grammie tried to take a picture...



This weekend, the Bean headed out to get herself a passport. First, she put on her cutest new shirt... (thanks Steve!)



And then she headed out to have her passport picture taken. Only problem was, she didn't feel like waking up, no matter how much Mom and Dad wiggled her, tickled her and talked to her.



Mom and Dad are hopeful that the State Department will give her a passport anyway, since the passport photo requirements don't say that her eyes have to be open....
