One month old?

Mom and Dad aren't exactly sure. The Bean was born on January 29th. If there were a February 29th, it would be today. But there isn't a February 29th, at least not this year. So will the Bean ever be one month old? It's close enough for Mom and Dad to celebrate, certainly! Only 215 more until she can vote.

The last few days since Grammie and Grandad left have been busy, with Mom, Dad and the Bean settling into a pretty good routine. Milk in. Burp out. Change diaper. Take nap. Repeat.

With the basics of the routine now more or less figured out, the Bean is starting to notice more of the world around her. All of a sudden, she's a big fan of spending time on Mom's shoulder looking around.



She is also more comfortable in crib than the bassinet (sometimes, not always--Mom and Dad are glad to still have both options available).



The Bean has also started exploring her playmat.



Even when she's just resting and awake, there seems to be a whole new level of awareness in the last few days.
