Ready to Roll

On Saturday, the Bean got all dressed up to attend Daria's naming. The Bean wore a very special dress--which once belonged to Mom!



Mom decided to wear something else.



On Sunday morning, the Bean spent some time on the balcony reading and keeping Dad company while he worked.



Later on Sunday, Hilary and Angelo joined the Bean for a picnic in Central Park, celebrating the first weekend of decent weather in a while. After some time rolling around on the picnic blanket, the Bean retired to her stroller for a nap.



The Bean has been on a roll lately...literally. At most any opportunity, whether in her crib, on her playmat, or on Mom and Dad's bed, she will roll over onto her stomach for a different perspective on the world. In a significant shift from a few weeks ago, the Bean can now remain happily on her stomach for quite a while.

She seems very pleased with her new abilities.
